Thanks to your donations, Children’s Hospital of Georgia purchased specialized TurtleTubs for our smallest patients in the Neonatal ICU. These tubs promote swaddle bathing, which is proven to decrease crying, stress, and keep the infant’s temperature more stable than traditional bathing. Preterm babies are at risk for low body temperature. When swaddled in the warm blanket and placed in the TurtleTub, the infant is comforted by the warm weight of the blanket. The infant stays contained, happy and warm!
