Miracle Moments at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in January

A new year means new moments to celebrate! Join us in celebrating these special moments and updates.

  1. Miracle Kid Izzy was featured on Disney Plus
    Izzy was born with arthrogryposis multiplex congenital amyoplasia, which affects more than one joint in the body. In Izzy’s case it affected her hands and feet. However, she has has never let that or anything stop her. She truly is an inspiration! Recently, her story
    was featured on Marvel’s Hero Project which is now streaming on Disney Plus.

  2. Planters Electric Membership Corporation showed their support for the kids
    Employees and families from Planters Electric Membership Corporation came together and raised over $18,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Georgia through their annual Chickenque, employee contributions and snack sales in 2019. Thank you for your support!

  3. Childhood obesity prevention grant awarded to Augusta University
    Augusta University, in collaboration with the Augusta Mayor’s Office, the Georgia Cancer Center, the Department of Pediatrics, Medical College of Georgia and the Augusta Partnership for Children, has been awarded a $120,000 grant to fight childhood obesity in the Augusta area.

  4. Census 2020 is quickly approaching
    Make sure you, your neighbor and your community are prepared to fill out your forms come census day on April 1, 2020. The effects from the results of the census will be felt by every person living in the United States for the next 10 years!
