Thanks to your donations, Children’s Hospital of Georgia could purchase a new Transilluminator Vein Finder for our emergency room. This device helps nurses and doctors ensure that an IV or blood draw is a one-time thing for those babies and children. Using these “vein finders” gives clinicians the ability to visualize a vein regardless of a patient’s age, body type, or skin tone, resulting in less “pokes” for an infant or child in the hospital.
