Your donations enabled the purchase of ECMO flow probes to support the pediatric and neonatal patients on ECMO at Children’s Hospital of Georgia. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (or ECMO for short) is a machine that treats critically ill infants and children by acting as an artificial heart-lung bypass. ECMO provides oxygen to the blood and can be used for a period of days or weeks to give organs a chance to develop, heal, and recover. 
These ECMO Flow Probes enable the caregivers to accurately monitor in real time the flow and thus provide the best support for the patients.
