Miracle Monday: Meet Brooklyn!

Meet Brooklyn…
Brooklyn and her twin sister Briah were born at 23 weeks with only a 22% chance of survival. Sadly, Briah did not make it, but Brooklyn fought hard to survive. Brooklyn spent a total of 3 1/2 months in the NICU. Mom, April Byrd, says Briah transferred all of her energy to Brooklyn to fight in the NICU. She continues to get treated at Children’s Hospital of Georgia for many different diagnoses and is currently in physical, occupational and feeding therapy. Brooklyn loves watching Peppa Pig and reading books.
