Jaguar Miracle at Augusta University

GS Miracle at Georgia Southern University

In 1991 Jill Stewart, a student at Indiana University, created a fundraiser in honor of her friend Ryan White, who died of AIDS the year prior.  Ryan White, contracted AIDS by receiving a contaminated blood transfusion to treat his hemophilia at the age of 13.  This fundraiser benefited Riley Hospital for Children in Indiana where Ryan was treated.

This single fundraising event has grown to an international movement, involving over 400 colleges, universities, and K-12 schools across the United States and Canada all raising money for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

We are so thankful to the amazing groups of students that are a part of Jaguar Miracle at Augusta University and to GS Miracle at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro for supporting the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.  These two student led organizations raise money on their respective campuses to help provide funding for much needed equipment and programs utilized by the patients and families we serve.
